Nowhere in my entire career have I ever had a more enjoyable, satisfying and eclectic career than when I worked for this wonderful woman.  I was fortunate to be on hand when the station was still broadcasting from John Adams Jr. High school.  The transmitter was in a room 15 feet from the on-air studio.  The offices looked like a rebuilt classroom.  Since those humble beginnings Ms. Seymour has presented and guided this station into one of the most creative forces in broadcasting.  I am proud to be able to say I was there at the start.  From Tom Schnabel's Morning Becomes Eclectic, to Deidre O'Donohue's programs, Don Brown's jazz, Jay Lacey and the Old Time Radio Show, Roger Steffens and the reggae program he helmed during the 80's to the Warren Onley's and other wonderful shows that populate the airwaves today.  This station has stood for creativity and I am proud to have played a small part.

Ruth, congratulations on your retirement.  While I'm sure it will not be as colorful as running a radio station, may it be just as satisfying.  It is well deserved.  LA and the radio world shall miss you.
