WOW...thanks for the update, Brent!  We all knew that it'd eventually come to this, especially when all the good people (like yourself) were let go, and after John Winder spent a matter of days with the company, looked the books over, and threw up his hands and quit---apparently to keep himself from getting tangled up in any of Frishberg's nasty business practices.  I'm glad we're all out of there, for that very reason as well, and for the fact that we were all expected to do MUCH more than what we were paid for, troubleshoot every last thing, AND weren't permitted to question anything.

You were always up front with Ray and me...you said from the get-go that the entire BizRadio Network existed just for Frishberg to have a place to shill for his financial services business.  Unfortunately, the on-air product never came with a caveat saying as much.  And think about how many spots we ran for Alan Stanford...

Not sure who's still in Houston, but I don't think we have ANYONE left here in Dallas that was with the company when we all were there...even our replacements were let go.

Why do I know the name Lauren Steffy (author of the article)?

How anyone could possibly believe a Business Radio format would be successful is beyond me.

With the advent of the Intenet and cable TV business channels, such a format is a dinosaur.

Sounds like "monkey business" radio or "give 'em the business" radio.

Well it's done on almost every non-music station in D/FW on weekends, just they were trying to do it fulltime.

As for the station having issues.... lets just say that I even witnessed the inner workings once or twice.... yea, no suprise.....
