Bill Plummer, who worked at Pittsburg/Concord's KKIS/99 for many years beginning in the late 1950s, provided me with a treasure chest of items that will go up on the museum website over the next few weeks.

The first cool item is a comic strip drawn back in 1967 by a neophyte DJ by the name of Radio Ray Farrell:

"Radio Ray" has gone on to bigger and better things over the years, but still is an accomplished artist ... under a different name:
