Hey Bugz... first, let me say that I appreciate the way you have worded
things. I mean, this can be a heated subject and I've seen people throw
barbs quite quickly when discussing such a personal belief. What if it's
true? It very well could be. And what if it's not? Then you have wasted
considerable energy (time, money, sanity, guilt, sadness, worry, a paradoxical belief system, etc.). Yeah, I realize there are also positives like feeling secure with a sky daddy and having a sense of hope. At least for Christians who end up in a good church with "decent" teaching.
I guess if you got into a discussion with most non-believers they aren't
going to be persuaded by the threat of hell. Hell, there is enough problem with that concept

And I don't believe there is enough evidence to support Christ and the bible outside of the bible. Search online for rebuttals to Lee Strobels "The Case for Faith" or Josh McDowell's "Evidence That Demands a Verdict". Just put your toe in the water and read why people have HUGE problems with Christianity. At the very least you'll understand why not everyone chooses to believe. And just maybe you'll be like me and follow what makes more sense and leave it behind.
