If anyone has video recordings (nothing made up) of any programming from WKBS-TV 48 from 9/1/1965 until its end on 8/29-30/83, Including the final sign-off of the station please post the video on www.youtube.com ASAP. Thanks a lot and when you do post a video of the old Channel 48, please use the tag WKBS. |

Frank: I'm somewhat impressed, but keep trying. However, you don't seem to understand or care where I'm coming from, in terms of criticizing Mr. May on his posts, however stupid they may be...but whatever. We just have to continue to tolerate Mr. May's posts...if they are informative or just the usual silly nonsense. The R-I bosses run the board how they see fit. That doesn't mean I agree with it, but we all have to do what the bosses say or we get nuked. There is some reason they allow Mr. May to flood boards with the same things over and over...what that reason is I will never know and/or understand.
There's nothing wrong with Mr. May's post this time. He's discussing Philadelphia television and is asking for airchecks. He's not promoting a political agenda of some certain Mayor. A few years ago, he was obsessed with radio airchecks...now it seems he's demanding television airchecks to watch on You Tube...even though he's said in the past that he doesn't watch television. I think we should cater to Mr. May's demands or else.

Couldnt you upload them to a better place than Youtube?? (They suck,they stream the vids at 2 high of a bitrate and they dont play well if you have a slower processor  ) Upload them to www.zippyvideos.com  |

I really wonder what you do for a living.
Please do tell us, since it must be a great job because it allows you to watch a lot of television that you hate, listen to a lot of radio that you hate and surf the internet finding obscure articles.
