Effective tomorrow, Tom Martino moves to one hour in the morning at 9:00 a.m. replacing the "Beyond the Headlines" news feature.

Also, Deborah Duncan is gone.  The syndicated Joe Pags show is on from 1-3PM.

Isn't "Joe Pags" on WOAI in San Antonio?  Wasn't Chris Baker carried on WOAI along with KPRC previously?  This could be some sort of stop gap measure while Deborah Duncan is on vacation / hiatus  or until something else is decided.

Joe "Pags" filled in for her a couple of weeks ago but she was just on vacation.  Now she is gone from the website and his show is on in it's place.  I enjoyed Deborah, she was a refreshing change of pace from the other 'right' slanted shows on the station.

I can't comment on Deb Duncan, as I've only had the pleasure of listening to Houston radio on two days, but I think KTRH sounds great, a far cry above, well above KFNC.  KTRH's news content is superb and IMHO, putting Tom Martino on any time outside morning drive in Houston would serve them well.  Tom's show is an excellent service and is extremely compelling.

"I am Tom Martino, your Troubleshooter!  We try to arbitrate, we try to negotiate, we try to settle.  Buuut... "uh-oh": "bad, bad, bad, bad boys"... there are some companies that don't give a damn about us.  'If I buy your product, then you owe it to me to follow up."

We used to air Tom's show on a little coffee pot AM where I used to work.  I wish he was being carried on a blowtorch somewhere here in the midwest.  No one does consumer service radio like Tom Martino.
