SF Talk Stations Schedule Debates

Sister Talk KQKE-A (969 THE QUAKE) and KNEW-A (TALK 910)/SAN FRANCISCO are holding their own version of a debate, but without the politicians: the second annual "GREAT DEBATE" between the conservative hosts of KNEW and the liberals of THE QUAKE is scheduled for OCTOBER 27 at the UNIVERSITY OF SAN FRANCISCO. KNEW's ARMSTONG AND GETTY and syndicated hosts JERRY DOYLE and RUSTY HUMPHRIES will face off against THE QUAKE's syndicated STEPHANIE MILLER, THOM HARTMANN, and RACHEL MADDOW with comedian JOHNNY STEELE. Former SAN FRANCISCO Mayor WILLIE BROWN will moderate; the show will air on tape before the NOVEMBER 7 election.

This is a great idea.  I wonder why this is not done in other Clear Channel markets that have Liberal and Conservative talk stations -- e.g. Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Denver, Columbus, OH, Grand Rapids, Miami and more.
