Typical liberal.  If it were up to your kind, we would still be driving Ford Pintos and they would cost $35,000 a year.

P.S.  As to who has a life ... I wasn't the one who just spent God knows how long writing a long-winded response at 3 am.  [EDIT]

[EDIT-inflammatory]

If only you didn't say the above, then I would consider your what you said an intelligent counter.

But because you hide behind a facade, it only makes you [EDIT].

In the meantime, there are a lot of Clear Channel and CBS Radio employees facing a gloomy Christmas.

And yes, I did say Christmas, Mr. You-Think-We're-Waging-War-Against-Christmas.

I would take more time here, but I need to get to church.

UPDATE:

Both WTVN and WTPG have taken down the "Changes are Coming" flash banners from their sites. And it seems that CC execs in San Antonio are prowling the blogs looking at the things that are being written about them. A reader of my blog tipped me off, saying that he noticed a CC corporate IP number in his userlog. I looked at mine and noticed one too. They were reading our posts about the goings-on at the Columbus cluster.

Coincidence?

I don't know anything about the changes are coming banner, but the IP address at CC Columbus always comes up as San Antonio. I doubt that the corporate office is checking on the comments. It wouldn't surprise me to see a 1230 flip, but I would prefer some tweaks instead.

I think something is brewing at 1230...just not sure what? Heck...could be regional mexican!

I would think that Columbus could support a Lib talker but I guess I was wrong.

WTVN and WTPG always go prophet (all music) for the Christmas holidays and run 24/7 christmas music with just a news breif at the hour and bottom. WTVNs been doing that for years, way back to their Full Service days.  (who wants two days of "the best of" anyways.)

That they do.  To a fault, in fact.  I remember during the big ice storm a few years ago near Christmas, a large chunk of the population was without power and it was near-crisis for many trying to find a place to stay.  Meanwhile I was amazed that "Newsradio 610" was blithely pumping out the Christmnas tunes, with hardly a mention of the biggest local storm in years.  It was really pathetic.  Newsradio, the station you can count on when bad weather hits.  Yeah, right.  They forget the footnote, "except if it hits when we're enjoying the holidays."  My respect for that station plummeted at that point, and hasn't recovered.

Today's Media Morsels column in THE OTHER PAPER is entitled 'Is Columbus's liberal radio station doomed?'

They say,"C.C. representatives seemed to go to some lengths not to comment on their plans for WTPG this week. Calls to the corporate headquarters and local offices went unreturned."
