I used to listen to Handel on KFI while I was working in LA. The guy is an arrogant pr*ck. He is amazingly condescending, and especially so to anything Christian. The bias was truly amazing. Cannot imagine anyone keeping their job making the same remarks about Jews, Muslims, or even Hindus. I can't for the life of me figure out why he's still on the air. Must be the Trial Lawyer Lobby :-)

That's part of his charm:  he IS giving equally snide comments about Jews, Muslims, Hindus, etc.  His show is broadcast on WSB each Saturday at noon and repeated at midnight.  Give a listen - what we're hearing in Atlanta doesn't fit the description of his KFI show.  I'm a huge fan. Cheesy

I did give it a listen and didn't care for it. I liked the local lawyer turned judge who used to have a show here much better.

This morning (12/19/06) KMOX-AM 1120 ran a censored piece of that broadcast.
I caught the middle of it as I was tuning the dial.

"Bill clearly was in the wrong.  His damn kids shouldn't have been roaming the halls and going into other peoples' control rooms.  Shame on him for allowing this to even be an issue.  Secondly, shame on him for using that kind of language in a control room.  Folks, this isn't the janitor.  This guy has worked in radio for 12 years and appearently can't keep himself in check enough to keep from getting mad and using language that can cost his company mega-bucks.  I can't say whomever was running the board was actually at fault, but I would have turned off the mics and proceeded with the convo when it was clear that he was getting angry.  That would have been my natural reaction in this situation.  Unless he wants to volintarily pay the FCC on behalf of CC right up front, he shouldn't have a job.  Shame on him.

Will you please cite your source for "kids shouldn't have been roaming the halls and going into other peoples' control rooms"?  I haven't been able to locate it on my own...thanks.

They are kids hanging out at the radio station where their Dad is one of the top guys and is well known.  Kids in this situation, 99% of the time would have the "my dad works here, I can go anywhere I want" attitude, that's usually the way kids think.  It's a pretty safe bet that this is the case here.  Especially since it's evident that Bill wasn't keeping an eye on them.
