How about a signal report from the fringe areas? Has the signal improved? Chime in ! JMD

No change here in coastal Ocean County.  Still unviewable.

It's pretty bad here in Norristown along the Schuylkill River...and we're only about 5 or 6 miles away from the Roxborough Antenna Farm...

OK, would you believe this. I live up in Parsippany (Morris County, North Jersey, NYC DMA) and have a standard rooftop attenna on my two story house (nothing fancy, I live in a flat area and not on top of a hill) I get all the NYC stations fine (only 20 miles west of NYC) and I get CBS 3, ABC 6, NBC 10, PBS 12, from Philadelphia snowy (fair) but viewable at most times. No Philly UHF makes it up this far north, but WPSG CW 57 came in this afternoon as Reba aired around 4:00 or 4:30 this afternoon (same as WPIX CW 11 New York) I think I'm 65 - 70 miles from Philly by way of the crow flys but 57 is somewhat viewable now. (fair at best)

That's impressive, there was either 1.) A band opening due to the unusual weather we've been having (Highly unlikely) or 2.) WPSG-TV is broadcasting from an auxilliary site further to the north. Their "Stick" is off of the tower now, probably in the shop for repairs. Does anybody know where channel 57's auxillary transmitter site is located? This could be the answer to why you are receiving the 729.25 MHz signal so well up there. Just a thought. I'll keep you posted as to when the "stick" is placed back on the tower. Have a good one! JMD

Born and raised in Philly, was a teenager during the 80's listening to 98 WCAU FM in town and Boss 97 "Down The Shore". Listened to 93.3 WMMR during the late 80's and 90's, then WDRE, WPLY, WXXM, WXPN, WYSP, WRFF, WMGK , all in Philly at one time or another. Love rock radio diversity. Peace JMD

Still a crap OTA signal in Ocean County.  I suppose it's a good thing that I only watch one show on Philly 57! (well, add the Phillies to that in the summertime).  I DID email them, asking when the problem would be fixed, but no answer.  Oh well, screw you, viewer, I suppose.
