I may not have a radio show at the moment, but I wanted to let everyone know that the seminal Houston publication, The Public News, made it's return this week as an online-only newspaper.  I'm writing a weekly column called "Exposure" (I believe in recycling the names of my past radio shows) and I'll be sharing some of my stories from my 20+ years in the music business.  Here's the link to the first issue:  http://www.publicnews.us/

YAAAAAYYYY! I picked up Public News all the time while I lived in Houston, and was so sad to see it go. Welcome back!!!

Now if only they could convince Scott Gilbert to draw a weekly "True Artist Tales" comic for it again...

Edie,

Public News will be a weekly publication, but at the moment it is bi-weekly.  Unlike the original newspaper, it is in full color.  Public News will include coverage of local music, nightlife, politics, film and more.  You can print it out on paper if you prefer, but it is very convenient to read online.  New issues are available for download on Wednesdays beginning at 9am.  The second issue will be out on 2/28.  In addition to the link I posted, there is also http://publicnewsonline.com and a myspace page at http://myspace.com/publicnews
