Congress (which is the opposite of PROGRESS) is very upset that the average American FOUND OUT what was in the bill!  They think we are a bunch of mindless idiots out here.  Well, we hire them, and we can fire them!  My representatives have been put on notice that I am watching them.  Yes, talk radio alerted me to the problem.  And I thank them for it.  In fact, local Atlanta talk host, Chris Krock, has had one rally already, and has scheduled another one.  I will be there!

Some in Congress (including some Republicans) if they have their way, will see to it that THAT never happens again!

What "Immigration Debate" are you talking about? There is no debate about "immigration". The debate is about illegal aliens. If you listened to talk radio, you'd know that.

That's probably what was meant...Illegal immigration....not immigration alone. This country was built on immigration, but LEGAL immigration!

Sorry, you are right.

This issue illustrates why having talk radio as it currently exists is so important to the nation. Even if someone believes that we should be giving amnesty to illegal aliens (and anyone who thinks that is entitled to that opinion), they should be aware or what it is that they are advocating. So long as the mainstream media supports the side of the political spectrum that uses the rhetorical tactic of calling the issue of illegal aliens "immigration", the alternative media (conservative news/talk) is needed to provide an intellectual counterbalance.

No kidding. Here in PHX, the Arizona Republic's will not call them what they are: ILLEGAL immigrants. Instead, the policy is to use the word "migrant" rather than immigrant and never to use the word "illegal". Rather they are "undocumented" persons who are "migrating" accross a border that should not be there in the first place. Both of our Senators have completely sold out on this issue. And despite what Mssrs Kyl and McCain claim, the vast majority of Arizonans are absolutely, unalterably opposed to illegal immigration. That opposition cuts accross all gender, political and ethnic backgrounds.

Hi everyone:
What "Immigration Debate" are you talking about? There is no debate about "immigration".
That's because there's NO issue TO debate in the first place.
Quote
The debate is about illegal aliens.
That's because the government caught either they or a loved one BREAKING THE LAW and they are crying foul by expressing public outrage every time the government DOES ITS JOB.
Quote
If you listened to talk radio, you'd know that.
And sadly, everyone from talk radio hosts to politicians are falling head over heels over the SOB STORIES these illegal immigrants are telling (No thanks to people like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson no less).

Just my blunt opinion....

Cheers Cheesy
