I am just curious....

Why doesn't KOIT have a jock for their weeknights and sunday nights Love Song Afterdark between 8pm-1am but they HAVE a jock (Linda Cassidy) for saturday nights between 8pm-midnight.

What was the reason behind it?

They're all about getting you through your workday, and people who listen to KOIT are probably done listening by 8pm, so why spend money on a jock no one's going to be listening to?

As for Saturday, who knows, maybe because no one watches tv on Saturday nights and their listeners have friends over for boring parties with KOIT playing in the background?

So yeah, money.

Personally, I always play KOIT in the background for my lively Saturday night parties, though I generally turn the sound down low while we play charades, then turn it back up when I serve refreshments of Campbell's Tomato Soup, bologna sandwiches on white bread (crusts cut off naturally) and Sprite.

Lkeller, I like your menu. Have you thought of putting it ALL in a blender and pushing Puree? There is nothing like Campbell's Tomato soup with Bologna Chunks and a Frothy Head from the Sprite...AND Perhaps serve it with a Lipator Chasser.

You could call the drink "The Michael Bolton"  Wink

No Delilah costs Avails...Why do that when they can flip the RDS to Auto, shut off the lights, and let the US Weather Service do some sparkling pre recorded forcasts through the we small hours. Jack Kulp will be there about 5a to turn the lights back on.
