Brian also does KNBR 680/1050 and KDON-Monterey which has a big bleed over into the Bay Area so technically 3 Brian James stations, or officialy 2 in the market. Is there any kind of limit per market, or distance limt with VO's?

Bossjock1947,   I  got  the  precise  reply  I  was  looking  for,  Thanks,  to  you  and  your  partner,, bcradiodj,, I  will  sleep  quite  well  tonite,,,,,,,,,,,,,,  More  tommorow!!!   1,000,000  thanks,,  Kenny  in  Concord
Kenny, I think your depends are too tight or you're not taking your meds again. Ocean IS a fantastic V/O and air talent, but he doesn't want to be a part of KFRC (right now) so please get over it and as for John Mack, well there maybe some hope there. Be patient.

As Ocean doesn't want to be part of KFRC right now, JMF doesn't want to be part of radio right now. It hasn't treated him that great in recent years, and he is taking a break. I do believe he would love to get back into things in the right situation, but I don't think he would deal with the corporate politics well nor do I think he wants to. Sometimes we all just need a break from it.

And if you remember that it was Infinity (CBS) that purchased KYA-FM, then made the switch to country, in which John Mack was relegated to weekends on KYCY, I could understand if has bad feelings toward CBS. But he's had a 5 or 6 year break now, so if he is offered a gig on KFRC, I hope he considers it.

Your info is correct. And I echo your thoughts on hoping he considers it, however I am afraid to say it for fear I will start sounding like Kenny in Concord!! Grin

BLACKHOLE,,  its  real  simple  ,, afternoon  drive =  John  Mack  Flanagan,,  do  you  remember  how  terrible  afternoon  drive  was  in  1994  when  we  were  blessed  with  RON  AND  CAMMY???  That  was  a  terrrible  time  for  KFRC  poor  choice  for  afternoon  drive,,  what  was  CBS  thinking  then,  its  a  new  era  and  time  to  get  back  to  its  roots,,  ONCE  again  to  the  suits  at  CBS  make  the  right  choice, You  threw  alot  of  money  at  the Movin  Format, got  very little  return for  your  money!! I would  like  to  see KFRC  come  back  and  tromple  all  over  The  Wolf!!!  Kenny  in  Concord
