Looks like the format is still the same etc.... "Still blasting you with ONE MILLION MILLIWATTS of power"

What you may be asking about is their transmitter maintenance/adjustment that has been going on. From their website...
 
"Over the next few days, you may notice that our signal isn’t quite up to par – but there’s a good reason! Some much-needed maintenance is being performed on our transmitting system, which could result in decreased output as well as occasional periods during which we’re off the air entirely. The result, however, will be that our signal will be much stronger, and the quality and clarity of the music you enjoy will be even greater. If you love the new KOMY 1340, you ain’t heard nothin’ yet!"

Quick aside: I'm the webmaster for KOMY. That note has been on the website for weeks, and the maintenance is still going on...
