I always read this board but never posted.  I'm a big Jersey Guy fan looking forward to good entertainment every afternoon but if the rumors are true and Craig is going to The FAN the guy they have on with Ray Rossi said his daughter said he sounds like Kermit the frog. Yes he does sound like Kermit the frog with bad humor who sounds like he just landed in Jersey from another planet. I hope this won't be permanent if Craig does goes to The Fan since Kermit the frog radio on 101.5 today is boring and annoying. I can't listen anymore, hopefully Kermit the frog won't be on Monday.

Kermit is Casey from the radio team of Scott and Casey who did the show before Craig and Ray so I don't think this will be permanent if Craig left or leaves for WFAN.  Casey and Ray do sound like oil and water together and it's just not working. Can Scott be on his way ? Casey said Craig is on vacation but wasn't Craig just on vacation ?  Maybe something is happening. Interesting.

I think Casey sounds great. Good to have him back on 101.5.

I was listening to the "Jersey Guys" today and it was obvious to me that Casey's voice and wierdo sense of humor were a complete turnoff.

It became totally unlistenable to me and I had to turn it off.  He wasn't funny, although it seemed he thought he was.  He had absolutely zero chemistry with Ray who I love.  If I paid big money for ads on the Jersey Guys show today I'd be demanding a full refund first thing Monday morning.

I also hope this isn't permanent.  What a train wreck.

I never thought I'd say this, but if Scott and Casey make it back to 101.5, I may actually start listening to the station again.

It took me a LONG time to get used to their show, and just when I had really started to enjoy it, they left.

Stranger things have happened -- like me posting this Wink

I used to listen to Scott and Casey before the Jersey Guys came on a few years ago.

They were the highest rated afternoon show in NJ at the time.

These guys were great until they were let go for an on air oops...

I remember after they were let go, Craig Carton came on. I couldn't stand him at all, but I have since grown to be a loyal listener. However, I do not care for Ray Rossi. Fortunately he sits back and shuts up anyway.

Ray says things like "American History" lol

When he was on friday with Casey he ruined the whole show. Especially when they tried playing the music game show at the end of the show.

Ray made it way too hard and it was just annoying.

Now I really understand what Craig has to go through each and every day with this guy.

I do not want to see Craig go, I hope the rumors aren't true. He is terrific.

If he goes I hope his "sidekick" Ray Rossi does too, he is just HORRIBLE!

I addressed this topic on the "Chris" Carton thread, but I'm in agreement that Casey and Ray will not work.   Casey is like Carton in that he is confrontatonal and pretty much a "jerk" but he lacks any sort of showmanship, doesn't have Craig's sense of humor or creativity, and he doesn't have the chops to get into serious discussions.

With Craig, people either love him or hate him.  I don't see Casey being able to illicit that sort of emotion out of people.

Whoever takes Cartons place is gonna be in a tough spot.

I turned The Jersey Guys on briefly today and Kermit was on again. It sounds great if you like Kermit the frog. If I can describe Kermit the word would be Dorky. I'm in my late 20's and just started listening to talk the last few years because of Craig and Ray so I don't remember when Kermit was on last time which had to be a while ago. This will be my last post since I have satellite radio so I'm heading over there now for the afternoons. From what I heard today. Jersey Guy radio ended last week with Jersey Dork radio now in effect.

Is anyone else's suspicions arisen because people with less than 5 posts have come here to bash Casey?
