Hmmm.

Casey has posted here in the past using self-depreciating humor.

Someone brand new comes to post, bashing on Casey, calling him "Kermit".

Casey identifies himself sounding like a muppet on today's show.

So, either Casey's trying to astroturf himself, or he's letting the board get to him.

If you stopped listening to boring Kermit Casey and Rossi on NJ 101.5 then listen to NJ talk personality Mary Walter on Fox News radio today and tomorrow.

"The Jersey Guys" Casey and Rossi is just not working. First of all, the station continuing to call it "The Jersey Guys" is like if James Hetfield left Metallica and they just plug in a new singer and call the band "Metallica". Its weak.

I've tried to give the "new" Jersey Guys a fair shot the past couple of weeks but its no use. Forget the "Kermit voice", the problem is Casey's personality, or lack of it. As a Non-Professional and as a measly little listener, I can explain it like this: Even to those who didn't like him or agree with him, Craig came across as a guy who if he was going to throw a party, it would probably be off the hook. He seemed to be with it. Casey just comes across as a complete dork who probably married the first woman who gave him the time of day. And he's already coming out and trying to make "outrageous" comments to piss people off but its so blatantly forced it borders on embarassing. And it makes people turn off the radio, not leave it on. Since I know its not getting any better, I will no longer turn the show on. However, I do hope for Rossi's sake that the show is succesful.

This is getting sad. Can we do anything about Mary posting about herself?

We'll know it's her if she says "ecksettera" instead of "etcetera"
like she used to do on new jersey 101 point 5 before she got fired

Yes.  click the link that says "Report to Moderator", and say it's off-topic, off-thread trolling.

As Mary is no longer a New Jersey Radio personality, as Mary doesn't broadcast from New Jersey (Fox Radio is in New York), and Mary's show on Fox Radio cannot be heard in New Jersey, Mary Walter posts don't belong in the New Jersey Forum.

Just cut and paste this.  The mods will get the idea.

So lets see now according to Starscream you can't mention any person who used to be on NJ radio. OK so using Starscream's logic no one should ever mention Craig Carton anymore and we should report that to the moderator since Craig Carton went to WFAN.

I remember Casey B from the Scott & Casey Show before the Jersey Guys started.  But, I don't remember him being as annoying as he has been the past few wks since he sat in the Jersey Guys seat.  Poor Ray is trying hard to help him, offering the same backup he offered to Craig for five years.  But, something is falling flat.  Casey is trying too hard to be funny.  Even his insults to callers are boring.  Casey seems to be trying to be Craig-like. He brings up a topic and then talks over even himself.  And where does he get the topics?  BORING.  I am wondering if this is the show from now on or is Casey just standing in until they find a permanent replacement for Craig.  I wouldn't blame Ray if he is shopping for a new show.  Its the end of the Jersey Guys era in NJ.

If we posted about every single B or C list personality that went to other stations outside of the realm of the board, the entire board would be choked with off-topic posts.

You have posted, repeatedly, that Mary has gone elsewhere.  One or two posts is fine.  People will get the idea.  What you've done is pretty much spam the board with Mary updates, which is not needed nor wanted.  Have you noticed that every time you post about Mary, you get hate in return?  It seems to me that Mary wasn't particularly well-liked by listeners OR co-workers.
