What are the chances that Greater Media will reconsider hiring Howie Carr and reinstate Don Imus. Certainly would be a cheaper way to go for TKK in this down turned economy.

Probably as much as a chance that Joe McMillan won't post tomorrow reminding everyone that it's the Marshfield Fair's 3rd day on Sunday! Grin

The Howie thing is not going to get wrapped up by October 1st. That's a given. Entercom is not his fan anymore . Look at what they just did to D&C. Absolutely humiliating. And, these guys were their top guns. Howie is just a fat servant boy. They're salivating over an opportunity of taking him apart in court. And they'll probably win if Howie keeps opening his big piehole in Heslam's columns. His agents/advisors are just as bad as D&C's, if not worse.

I am sure there's a contigency clause in the offer they signed that protects Greater Media in case he can't start at 96.9 within a reasonable period of time. You know Graham is not the future. And it's not so much the weak adveritisng situation as their undying love for AARP talk show host of the year that would make it easy for them to move on  if Howie's mess gets messier and Imus is back in syndication. I suppose D&C could also be available for pennies on the dollar by then... Roll Eyes
