Does that mean that about 94% of the people in the radio universe, do not listen to your station ?

Shocked WOW! Oh the Great Houdini RETURNS!!  Thanks for stopping...check the clock while you're here...steady numbers from the Gilligan Crew...hmm...except for the mighty Cat!?!?! Down this time?  Yeah Yeah Yeah..I know..Cat rules Rutland County...but look...2 country stations right behind the all New Z!

That could be Cat! Or maybe Cat could be number one...that is at a 50k signal...Maybe Marble Boy is afraid to lose his #1?

Wonder if all that self proclaimed exclusive Nor'Easter coverage on your station that partly caused the spike.. Just from quick glances though, 2 out of market powerful AC's made some good marks in your book as well: Star 92.9 and WHOM. There also seems be a huge appetite for Country since it looks like 5 out of market country stations made it to the ratings listings as well. Nice to see JB and John Lawrence's final showings for Z look good. They deserve to leave on a high note, and lay a foundation for the future there. What was Z, 6 or 7 tenths of a point behind your station ?

You guys are all toooooo much! Nevertheless, it is fun to sit back & see how little some of you understand about radio & its programming. First of all...OF COURSE THE NOR'ICANE COVERAGE HELPED! That's what radio is supposed to do in times of emergencies. Program your stations for the benefit of your listeners & SURPRISE!! You just might get a spike every once in awhile to help you reach the goal that I expect all programers are after...to be #1 in their market. (even if it's one as convoluted as Lebanon-Rutland-WRJ). You have to understand your demos and be able to offer them (hopefully) what they want....or at least more than the next dial position offers. Break down the specific demographics & I don't think any of you will be surprised at the rankings...The Rutland stations are right where you would expect them to be based on their targets..No surprises there. Didn't Cat Country give up some of its signal? It's no surprise then that the other country stations would gain some in-roads there. No surprises in the Upper Valley either. I imagine trying to program a group of stations in a single market would actually be more difficult than programming a "stand alone" in one, but in reality today it's more about the "bottom line" than the success of a signal anyway...1,2 or 20...."show me the money" and we'll have a party!
