I have been hearing what sounds like Spanish preaching and Spanish Christian music on 95.1 in the Galleria Area, and even a little west of that.  I do not think it is a skip signal of a legit station, because it sounds a little overdriven and is in mono.  Any ideas?

I was hearing it too a couple of minutes ago. At first I tought of KCOR, but no, there is no tropo right now. It has to be a Pirate. Especially if it is in Mono and Christian Music. Probably the same folks that ran the Spanish Christian music over at 87.9 about 1 and half years ago.

Oldchicago and Juan if you would have read my topic about radio aleluya you would have known this already, they bought 95.1 fm.  And Radio Aleluya has nothing to do with 87.9 Radio Poder, or Manantial De Vida.  Different owners.

Well, something is defenetly up, because it is almost impossible for me to listen to them over here in North Houston. I live past the Beltway up to the north, and that is too far for a small translator. Either, it is a Pirate (because they are not broadcasting in Stereo and their music is somewhat dissorted or high pitched) or the alleluya folks are testing with higher power than needed because it was eating up KNDE and KYKR up here. I'll tune in to hear an ID later on tonight.

Good thing those people over at 87.9 shut off their signal. It is the only clean signal to use for handheld transmitters for your car and they (87.9) always bleed right through your ipod. I was about to submit a complaint to the good ol FCC(To see What good would that make Wink) but they stopped.

Why does the FCC allow them to take every unused frequency to setup there network FCC regulary does not do this.  This makes you wonder if they are legit or there pirate I am thinking there pirate.
