All they would need is about 20kw with the decent height antenna close into town & they could cover just about all of Houston they do not more than that.

What they need to do is try to buy a station in Bay City & Upgrade to 100kw they would great range into south & south west & a decent ammount of cities along the texas gulf coast

Hey to all yall haters, Radio Aleluya is here to stay, its on of Gods Stations.  And I hope God forgives all of yall for saying evil stuff like you hope it goes of the air.  God rebuke the deveil
I'm sorry, but please, think of what you are saying. Sad Us saying evil stuff is not something that you can accuse someone of! Only the man upstairs can.

My personal opinion.
May God forgive me for what I am about to type, but to me, Church is like a big business. It lives off of the money. I don't listen to KFTG or the Bernal network, but does anyone ever think, "where do they get the money?" Donations? shure, but think about it. It's expensive to run a radio station. I learned the hard way, but some preachers are into religion for the money. I remember when my grandfather passed away, we went to the priest to see if he could mention his name during one of his masses, he said yes, but that came with a price. He charged us for it. Now, we agreed to pay because you can't put a price on a family members memory. But when we left, we forgot to pay. We went back and paid the priest. When we did, just out of curiosity, we asked him what would have happened if we just left without paying, he clearly told us that he just wouldn't have mentioned my grandfathers name during mass. Now, I know that every priest is not like that, but it is things like these that make you wonder, does religion benefit economically with these Translators and LPFMs?

I really do think that the FCC should really stick to the seperation of church and government. Feel free to critisize me, I won't feel bad if you call me an idiot, but to me, Religion is a big company that makes big bucks. I still believe in God and I do pray whenever I am not busy with school (gig em), but not the way the way church does. I always prefer to donate my money to the salvation army or the red cross where I know it will actaully benefit people in need.

I think they sold 1460 am, tody I heard it and it was some oriental programing, Like I said they should just sell all of there stations and buy a good one on fm.
Hey and what happened to their website?  I cant find it anymore

There's one problem with this:

They wouldn't get enough $$ off the translators for a "good" FM signal. Let's just say they can catch $100k for each translator (which is a VERY high price). They'd still be well short of the 20 million needed to buy an existing non-comm or the 50-100 million for a commercial frequency.

This is basically why these churches do translators: They cost a boatload less to own or operate than a full-fledged station

Radio-X
Besides all that, I don't think there is anyone selling something out there right now, and if there is, one of the big guys like Cox or CBS will beat them to it.
Someone posted a while back that Liberman was looking for a city grade signal but had no luck. They even went to KHCB but were told they were not on sale. Their only hope is to get KFTG and find a way to make it a rimshot signal from the south. KAFR is to close spaced for them. But if they pull it off, their signal won'te be great, but they will reach areas that aren't rechable to them right now (IE Rosenburg, Baytown, and the suburbs around the gulf)

Maybe switching networks? Sometimes, that could be a long painful process, depending on who your host network is.

Yeah, maybe as a paper boy or a janitor. I don't think they will hire anyone without experience to handle anything that goes on the air. Especially since they do preaching over the air. The best way to get in the air, If that's what you want mr.texmex, is by Internship. If you are a good preacher, then you maybe got a job there. Or maybe even programmer.
