There are so many reasons why I could cuss right now. But oh well, back to playing Queen's greatest hits.  Cool

Seriously, when was the last time you ever turned on the radio to listen to popular music? 70's, 80's?

a new development in the world of smooth jazz...oh, nope, sorry...nobody cares.  Even the a/v team, the only people WITH HD radios don't listen to that garbage.

You know the funny thing, EVERY time the jazz aficionados gather in this forum and create a post... any post... you are in the minority; yet NO ONE cares about jazz?! Maybe if we began offering ways to make WRR more relevant and hip, you would just lift a leg on that too?  Wink

Just because SJ is not your cup of tea does not make it garbage.  I would like to know what you consider (a) your favorite music and (b) what stations in D/FW you think are the best.  By the way, how old are you?

Just wanted to add some fuel to this lil' fire...

Sorry, but I never considered the elevator music on crack KOAI played to be Jazz. If you want Jazz, please tune to KNTU.

Nothing here to see, move along people.

EXACTLY!  Smooth Jazz is NOT Jazz...the words JAZZ AFFICIANADOS (sp) should NEVER be linked to SJ...that is why it doesn't work (except, for all you tee totalers, in a few limited markets).  It doesn't fly in Dallas, and won't in the future...If it does come back (big mistake)  it will be poorly rated, skew 55+ as well as have a high ethnic comp.  That will be a tough sell, just like it was before.
