So Where is Giant Brian
« on: September 04, 2007, 08:08:30 AM »

From the early indications, Giant Brian was to arrive in the Atl on 8/6. I would hava assumed a couple of week to set the show up but it is going on a month. I would have though the week of Labor Day would have been a target date. Trouble at the Project already with their new morning show?

As a public service to Radio-Info members, I checked both Web pages associated with the show. Here's what I discovered during my exhaustive in-depth investigation. The Giant (http://www.giantbrian.com/) has placeholder homepage with nothing but the text "The Online Home of Giant Brian" on it, and Perrynoid's myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/TheCosmicCircus) has a blog entry from 8/22 with lyrics from a song:

The Truth
Im sick and tired of hearing things
From uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics
All I want is the truth
[...EDIT to stay out of trouble with RI]

The META tags on the giant's page did reveal an interesting fact. There is absolutely no reference to Atlanta or Project "196".

From the source code:
<meta name="description" content="A weekly internet talk show based around the top stories of the day, mixed in with celebrities and comedy segments and hosted by Giant Brian, a member of The John DeBella Show in Philadelphia on 102.9 WMGK."  />
<meta name="keywords" content="giant brian,giant show,giant,show,brian,ed,troup,kite,carothers,podcast,comedy,philly,philadelphia,debella,john debella,morning show,b94,b-94,wbzz,pittsburgh,philadelphia"  />

Maybe Clear Channel is dickering with the show. Wouldn't surprise me -- seeing as how the station is doing well. Time for the redneck to mess it all up.

maybe...just maybe Neil Millman has kidnapped The Giant, and Perry. And is holding them captive
in his crawlspace next to his Michelle Engle shrine.

Just a thought.

Snort his ashes?? Not me. Snorting ashes is so passe', like the Fred Toucher show, or Members Only jackets. But not quite as disturbing as Neil Millmin's
Michelle Engle obsession, or all the hip young guys wearing girls pants these days.

Whatever happened I think the Project needs to stop stalling, and run that puppy up the flag pole, and see who salutes!
