Why do both Country stations in Seattle dominate ratings, when some markets can't even get one Country station to rate?  LA ???SF Huh
Why does Seattle have a Christian station on top of the 25-54 ratings in Spring Huh  No top twenty market has had that happen Huh
Why does MOVIN show up in ratings here 18-34, when it gets killed in every other market Huh  LA Huh SF Huh PDX Huh
Why does Seattle have the only HOT/AC station that is actually growing, the rest are flippin?  LA??? Detroit??? Philly has no HOT/AC???
Why does Seattle have only one Mainstream CHR station and it is at the bottom of the ratings, while in LA, Boston, NY, Dallas it is now number one or two Huh
Why does Seattle have no AM stations that rank top ten 25-54 while 8 in top 15 markets rank near the top Huh
Why do Seattle personalities keep hanging on into their fifties and sixites, and why do people keep listening Huh

Maybe the answer to these questions is why Seattle is a frickin unique radio town, it ain't like the rest of the Country.  Anyone can win
with a little work and hutzpah.  We play by our own rules here. Just feelin philospheecal today.

B/c Seattle isn't NYC, L.A., Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, Washington, Atlanta, Detroit, Boston, or Miami  Tongue

The answer to Country is rather obvious - the demographics are very different from NYC and L.A.
Seattle doesn't have any non-commercial Religious stations. Interestingly enough though neither does Atlanta, yet the commercial Christian station ranks LOWER then the one in Seattle  Huh
Movin works in Seattle b/c its customized for its market. Most of the other Movin are pitiful copycats, like the ones in Dallas, San Francisco, or SLC.
Philly does have a Hot A/C...its just that it leans more Rhythmic. Most of the market can also pick up 94.5 PST, which is pretty much an Adult CHR.

KBKS isnt programmed as well as it could be musically, and its morning show is also more then likely a deterrent rather then one of its strong points.

The hiring of STEVE RIVERS at KBKS changes most of this.  He is the god of CHR programming.  KBKS will be top five 12+ within a year.  MOVIN, WOLF, KPLZ, KUBE will all feel the pain.
Seattle really had a poorly run CHR for about ten years, a good CHR will make this market look like more of the rest of the country.  yeehawwwww
