Great to hear Carolyn Murdock again on radio. She was an outstanding radio newscaster at WROR and WRKO in the 80's and 'got out of the business' to raise her kids with her equally talented husband, Rod Fritz.
She can now be heard late mornings to mid-day doing the news on WTKK 96.9 FM.
Don't know if you can say this about a woman and not be turned in by the posse that went after Imus, but Murdock has a great set of pipes and adds a lot of class to 96.9.

I haven't been in the market for long so I wasn't sure about her history....but I agree, she sounds great and adds a lot to 'TKK!

Maybe 96.9 is trying to get Rod Fritz to do local news (instead of FOX). They are one step closer by hiring his wife. He could maybe serve as a new News Director and do news doing Howie's show when it finally premeires. I think he filled in for Howie once. Its nice to see that 96.9 is still hiring local people to do the news, unlike WRKO.

Rod Fritz would be an excellent choice to replace Paul Sullivan on WBZ.
Rod has a broad background including being a Vietnam veteran.
He did do some talk on WRKO and in fact, was hired by some past PD at WRKO to do that.  Of course, the PD's at WRKO last shorter than Persied Meteor Showers.
