<<Prepare for one of the least interesting post in recent history on this board... it doesn't involve Ron Hale or WPFM.>>>

Geez...poledo...then you should have just asked Charlie to sign this post off than waste everybodys time. Smiley
Now, I'll actually go and read what's going on. lol

So, maybe I forgot to take my Thorazine and Quaaludes when I started this post.

Talking about a cluster of low rated AMs in market #123 would bore most people who read here.  But the situation seems very curious to me.

Over the past year or so Pensacola Christian Radio (Glinter) has done some very strange things.
First, they have purchased an LPTV, Channel 39.  Why?
Second, he sold 1230 to the Catholics.  Evil?
Third, he moved 1090 to 1070 with no significant increase in facilities.  Crazy?
Fourth, he took down 550 before he got FCC clearance to move it to Mobile.  Risky?
Lastly, he's waiting on FCC approval for one or more new AMs to help him spread the word.  Gambling addiction?

With all these moves, he hasn't made a move into the non-com FM band, which is also controlled by preachers.
I just can't figure this Preacher out.

We lost our Classic Country this week.  Glinter needs to turn loose one of his stations so Larry Butler can start spinning records again.
