Does AM 910 WGTO sound as bad over the air as it does via its webstream? I've been listening to the station online for the past 20 mins and it sounds horrible. It sounds like the music being fed from ABC Oldies Radio is skipping every so often. And no it's not my computer because all my other streams I like listening to sound just fine.

It might be the Oldies Radio feed.  They still run off of CDs over there and a few years ago, they were having problems with CDs occasionally skipping.

That may be what you're hearing.  However, its kind of hard to believe that they would still be having those problems after at least two years.

Is this the station that used to be WFDF?  I thought they were Radio Disney now?

Separate station.  The ex-Flint station is now in Farmington Hills MI.

WGTO has been streaming right from the program line for at least a few years now and the audio is much much better. The original stream was from an off the air modulation monitor because no dsl service was available at the studio or trasmitter site so the ISP got the signal off air... but that was a long time ago and it OK now!!!
