Point to point ... If Gore is such a societal Messiah, why have we heard nothing from him since he won the Nobel prize. Remember, they nominated Limbaugh for a Peace Prize as well.
As far as there being blood on my hands, I'm interested to find the source of your 'tens of thousands' of Iraqi civilians I allegedly killed as opposed to the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's Saddam killed under the auspices of the United Nations and their hollow resolutions of 'condemnation'.
In regard to the Katrina tragedy, is it the government's job to evacuate people that make no overture to head to safety despite several days advance warning of a killer storm?
Why is there no such outrage at the Bush Administration following the wildfires in California that claimed no fewer than 1,500 homes but none of their occupants? These people had scarce few minutes to escape with their lives ... not 72 hours to at least gather belongings and loved ones for the exodus. If anyone has blood on their hands after Katrina, it's the incompetant Mayor Nagin and Governor Landreax who, in their constituents time of greatest need, sat and did nothing.
I am not defending anything the Bush Administration has done or not done over the past few years, but remember the passage that contains the admonition 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.'

Sean, How many people did Saddam kill? Why is it that some people will never say that Saddam was a terrible
person yet will say President Bush is repsonsible for the deaths of innocent people? As for the far leftist who won
the Nobel Peace Prize how come he is never held accountable for being part of an administration that was launching
bombs into Iraq indiscriminately to cover up the misdeeds of his boss? Finally on former Vice President Al Gore why
is it that anyone that wants to debate him on the issue of global warming that has a different opinion then his is
ignored? Mr Gore will not even give that person the respect to listen to there disagreements and answer there
questions that does not sound very open minded to me. Does it to you?
By the way Brother Bear you are completely right about Chamberlain and Hitler and there so called "peace agreement"
If Hitler would have been stopped before he could have started the war millions of people would not have lost there
lives and the whole coarse of our world would be different today.

As bad as Saddam was, even Bush's father believed going after Saddam was a bad idea.  In the first Iraq conflict, less than 200 soldiers gave their lives, and the conflict lasted slightly more than a month.  Further, when Bill Clinton bombed Iraqi sites believed to be weapons manufacturing and storage facilities, your side called it a ploy to get everyone's mind off Lewinsky.

As one who works for the Ohio Department of Pubic Safety, I can say absolutely yes, and with the confidence my co-workers including those in Emergency Management would soundly agree.

Why is there no such outrage at the Bush Administration following the wildfires in California that claimed no fewer than 1,500 homes but none of their occupants? These people had scarce few minutes to escape with their lives ... not 72 hours to at least gather belongings and loved ones for the exodus.

Unlike a large percentage of people in New Orleans, the residents in California had the means to evacuate quickly.  Many of the residents in New Orleans did not have reliable transportation.

And as Nero played the fiddle while Rome burned, Bush played guitar while New Orleans was under water.

I am not defending anything the Bush Administration has done or not done over the past few years, but remember the passage that contains the admonition 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.'
