On Jefferds'age I'm guessing 70 give or take. Gio's age doesn't matter. He doesn't sell the music although I have to chuckle when I hear him say "In Da Club" though I'd chuckle more if he said "In The Club". Most morning shows exist irrespective of age demographics.

It isn't age only though. AC radio is a bad example because most guys despise the format and you can't expect AC stations to be staffed by women only but look at Coast. Delilah is probably the only one there who would be caught dead listening to the station. The morning show has its moments and they're both trying but neither can resist reverting from what should be a female oriented show to guy talk. I guess maybe if what women really want is air personalities who sound like everything they find irritating about their husbands then the show is doing its job.

Back in the day when I was there.....we had 8 weekend/swing DJ's...I'm thinking they are looking to have more on hand than Austin & JBuff to give a little more difference from the weekday line up

I heard Chris today briefly. He sounded good but I still don't think there's a permanent job there for him. Jess was only recently hired and they even had her middays on Hot 106 before they came to their senses and moved her to PRO-FM. I still don't think he's a CHR night person kinda jock and as everyone knows Davey isn't going anywhere.
