So it's been evident all year that Carolla and Bonaduce don't get along, but things came to a head this week.     Here's a on-air summary of things that happened :

- On 12/10, there was a lead in bumper that said "Only four more days of Danny Bonaduce .... for us at least"
- On 12/11, Carolla and Bonaduce threw small shots at each other all day
- On 12/12, Carolla called in sick, which is entirely out of character.      He has rants about people who call in sick and who are late, and about a "rally gene" that certain people have that makes them come in even when they are under the weather and don't want to
- He did not call in to his own show
- On 12/12, during the 12-1 hour, Carolla called into Dr. Drew's afternoon show, stayed an hour, and said he was "feeling better, but not sure how he'd feel tomorrow".    It was a "wink-wink, nod-nod" statement, and I'm not overstating the context.     He was basically saying he wasn't sick and that he'd skip the next day also.
- On 12/13, he was sick again, did not call in to his own show
- On 12/13, at night he skipped the "A Christmas Carolla" live remote, and from reports he did not call in.
- During all this time, Bonaduce hosted, was terrible, only talked about threesomes, his 25 year old girlfriend, and gave out his cell phone number on air over the dump-button guy's objection
-  The rest of the staff (Bryan Bishop, writer Mike Lynch, Teresa Strasser) gave occasional on-air potshots at Bonaduce and refused to criticize Carolla

So what is going on?   Is Carolla back next year - it seems like that is unlikely, but I gotta ask.  If so where's he going?     What shlock would FreeFM replace him with?

Oh I picked a bad week to listen to a Christmas CD... Grin Man... well I hope Adam stays around.... I have not heard that he is leaving.... Hmmm.. (I read that right, right?) Now Danny moving on.. that is okay. I do (or did) loe the banter between the two. And when Adam started speaking Bonaduce, I nearly drove my car off the raod that morning. That was hilarious.

I don't have any info, but I think Adam Corolla is one of the few real talents left in the biz. He can make almost anything funny. Free FM would be crazy to let him go. Bonaduce is not nearly as entertaining or talented. Hasn't he been fired from nearly every job he's had, including his own reality show?

Now KLSX has nuked the entire show message board, possibly because it was 99.8% anti-Bonaduce.     They didn't just temporarily shut it down, they deleted every user and closed it permanently.      It was a pretty active board too - think sternfannetwork type volume.

I honestly think that Carolla is destined for more TV.  He's proven himself on the radio and after making the early morning wake up for this amount of time, why not move on? TV money is better and the work schedule doesn't have to be as grueling.  God knows if I could do it I would.  Bonaduce is a poor replacement, but I'll be he'll work for cheap.  If Danny gets the show by himself it'll probably hit the skids.

Here is Adam on the Dr. Drew show the first day of Adam's "sick out":

Toward the beginning he says he was sick in the morning but then he felt better.  Then, under his breath he said "we'll see how I feel tomorrow."

That show needs Adam. I hope to heck he comes back...but he would make for a great TV personality too (if we only had TV now... LOL)

I find it hard to believe that in this day and age, especially in a place like LA, that no one knows any inside info on whats going on.
