Now that Radio 106.7 has emerged and the dust has settled, when do we get to see the next three sticks 101.7, 102.5 and 104.3 make a move into the Columbus market? Will anybody take on WNCI or WCKX?

Merry Christmas and here's to a happy and exciting 2008.

"Pay No Attention To The Man Behind The Curtain"

104.3 is scheduled to move in sometime in 08 but it's anybody's guess on a timetable. There are still things that have to happen before light is seen at the end of that tunnel. I think 3rd quarter at the earliest and 4th quarter for real. Then what Saga will do with it is another whole thought process considering they are having trouble managing the three formats they have now.

I appears that the BLOOM TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES, during its August 22 meeting, turned down
the WHIZ request to build its new tower in BLOOM TOWNSHIP. So, it appears that the new WHIZ tower
site is on hold at least for now. Below is the BLOOM TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES meeting for March
and August of this year where the WHIZ tower issuie was discussed:

• Radio tower report: Cyphert stated Harold and Robert Stebelton, in conjunction with WHIZ,filed an application for a radio station tower to be placed on Amanda Northern Road, just southof the Edward Phillips property. Cyphert stated the Board of Zoning Appeals has approved aproposed site for the plan but has not approved having the tower. The BZA will not approve the total conditional use permit until all terms of the resolution have been met. She said they are far from completing the requirements and she does not expect a vote on the complete application for quite some time.

It looks like 15 Informal Objections have been filed against the 101.7 application to move into
Columbus. So, it looks like the WHIZ-FM ,102.5 CP above and the WNKO, 101.7 application will
not make it on the air in 2008. WHIZ, 102.5 is being held up by zoning of their tower site
and the WNKO app. is being held up by Informal Objections.

This are the list of all the formal objections to WNKO's application:
