.......if, indeed, the street-talk is true about WEEI and WPXC.

The latest is that, yes, PIXY 103 is going all sports after the new year, but no one is telling that to the airstaff.

I HATE scuttlebutt and rumors.....and shame on entercom if how they plan to dismiss folks there is true.....does anyone know anything about when WPXC changes to WCEI/WDEI/WVEI/WBEI/WGEI/WPEI/WTEI/WZEI??

I realize it's fashionable on this board to automatically bash Entercom for every single thing that's wrong, true or otherwise, with the radio business, but if this is "street-talk" is true, Entercom won't be the party dismissing the air staff, since they don't own WPXC.  Blame Nassau for making the deal in the first place.

Biggest mistake Nassau will ever make.

Especially now that they've got rock completely to themselves on the Cape now.

I expected them to flip WFQR. If they flip WPXC, two of their three stations in Cape Cod will be simulcasts.

yep, you're right.  I did bash Entercom and that wasnt right.  It is totally a Nassau decision and I agree with that.

My bad completely.

i was on the cape today, just happened to scan over to pixie 103....and i remembered this thread.  that'll be awful if they flip to the EEI network,  103.7 comes in just fine there.
