Ok, I tried searching for this error message online but can't seem to find any real answers. I am trying to access some Cumulus stations - WHHY Y-102 and WQLH Star 98 and keep getting the error messages "Cannot open the file. Verify that the path and filename are correct and try again." or "The session is being terminated locally." - what does the sessions error message mean? Here are the urls:

mms://live.cumulusstreaming.com/WHHY-FM

mms://live.cumulusstreaming.com/WQLH-FM

I am using version 9 of WMP for the Mac OS X but it isn't working on my laptop PC either. One of the DJs at Star said it would have been fixed Monday but it's not. I've gotten Star online before and both Y-102 and Star 98 say they are streaming online. Their other sister stations streams are working so is it a problem on their end? I just want to know what that error message means - has anyone else here gotten it before? Any help with this would be much appreciated - thank you and Happy New Year too!

Your first problem is using WMP 9 on the Mac. You should download Flip4Mac, which has more current codecs compatible with newer versions of Windows Media.
