Does Kiss 93.9 and the River 100.7 have any weekend jocks or shows at all? The few times I listen day or night on Saturday or Sunday all I hear is automation. Do they even make an effort for weekend programs? I find it hard to believe that they would run 48+ hours of nothing but automation, but that's the way it sounds. I'm not saying that Kiss should bust out Friday and Saturday night modern club or dance shows, but they could at least make a half-hearted effort at voice tracking Saturday afternoons and put a bit of life into the station If nothing else. The average listener probably doesn't care, but 48+ hours of automation is lifeless.

What Kiss should do is put some type of retro-hits show on Saturday or Sunday, such as Kid Kelley's Backtrax USA.  At least that would be a start.

Saturday morning, The River played some show called "The Deep End."
It sounded like the voice guy who does the "It's allll abowwwwt the music" liners, typical recorded program.
The last song they played was "With or Without You" by U2 (heard it when I scanned back by) so I don't know what was "deep" about that end, maybe the deep stuff was in the middle.
It was nothing better than automation filler though, from what I heard.
