The ratings are in with a few surprises!  Comments?

http://www.radioandrecords.com/RRRatings/DetailsPage.aspx?MID=119&RY=2008&RQ=1&MP=2&OTHER=2&MN=Indianapolis&MS=IN&MR=40&12P=1350900&UP=4/7/2008&SU=CM&BPER=14.1&HPER=&OPER=&NSD=5/5/2008&CE=0

WKLU is number 9 beating WNOU and WZPL.  1070 is a .8.

Nice try RDO!  Warm is cold to the ratings game!  Lord, I think their FM Talk ratings were better!  What a waste of a signal!

lol

WKLU is also getting STOMPED by it's most direct competitors:  WFBQ, Jack, The Track.  So what, they beat WNOU?  Big deal.

I said someone should do oldies and they'd do well.  Guess What?  WKLU is now whipping The Track.
They are just 2 10ths of a point from 105.7

I also predicted that if 1070 took ESPN from WXLW, they would lose most of their listeners.
And, run off most of the remaining AM listeners in Indiana.

Why are their so many people so hateful about WKLU on this board? For years they had only a fraction over a one share, now look at them. This station is a true success story. I listen every afternoon on my way to appointments in my work, I find myself listening more and more. Their on-air people I really like in the afternoon hours, they just say enough, if you know what I mean. It seems they have a lot less noise than does Q95 and many of the others in town. Grant it I don’t like everything about them. Anyone who listens to WNOU would never listen to WKLU and visa-versa. To compare the two is like comparing grapefruit to apples. Perhaps I am misinformed, correct me if I am wrong??

I personally really like seeing the country growth on WFMS!
