I can't understand why WTKK doesn't advise the listener that Severin's show is a rerun, like today's show. I think today's show is yesterday's show. Do people call in? What happens when they dial the number? At least on shows like the "Best of Michael Savage", the voiceover tells you the show is pre-recorded, and tell you not to call in. And why doesn't Severin let his listeners know if he won't be in the next day? McPhee had no problem advising her listeners that she would be out of town the rest of this week.

Maybe he was planning to come in, but hooked up with a hot Asian chick at the last minute and had to bail on his show.

I don't often listen to Jay or WTKK (or talk radio) but I happened to be listening to Jay near the end of his show on the Friday of President's Day weekend back in February and he did tell the listeners that he would not be in on Monday on President's Day.  In fact, if I recall correctly (which I probably don't), he called it "Martin Luther King Day".   Grin

Jay is away from his show so much he is known to some as as "Vay-cay Jay."
WTKK does say it's a "radio rewind so don't call, he's not here," but only at the top of the hour.
But since he does repeat himself a lot anyhow, it can be hard to tell....
