Bay Area Radio Hall Fame inductees

Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame voting is done and four great Bay Area sportscaster our part of the class of 2008. The sportcasting group includes Russ Hodges, voice of the Giants when they first move to the Bay Area; Bob Fouts, 1950's 49ers play by play man; Don Klein, long time KCBS sports anchor,Stanford and 49ers announcer and Roy "Shot on Goal" Storey, who started out doing major league baseball recreations on KYA  in early 1950's, then Western Hockey League Seals(also one NHL season) play by play plus one of the earliest sports talks show in the 1950's on KLX and St. Mary's College (CA.) basketball.
Induction cermonies will be held Wednesday, Oct. 1 2008 at the Doubletree Hotel in Berkeley, California.
