KRMG seems to have the edge in signal as well.

KFAQ's signal reaches 38 states on the night pattern and at least a good 75 mile radius
during the day. KRMG has the edge when it comes to local news and maintaining a true,
fully-staffed news department. The KRMG product is tough to beat, too. Just wish
KRMG had KFAQ's signal strength.

But KRMG can be heard very easily in the OKC metro area day and night. KFAQ cannot...

KRMG has always been the fighting ship of the line.  It has a rich history who life long Tulsans appreciate in a way only a Tulsa native can.  What a truly great radio station.  I'm glad we have 740 KRMG.  It is as much a landmark to the Tulsa airwaves as Tulsa's dowtown skyline is to the eye.  I was very sad to see KVOO AM go the way of the evening paper.
