So family man, Kidd Kraddick announced through a life changes segment on his show that he was now divorced from his wife Carol. He pointed that they grew apart from each other, one of the main reasons was from taking his show national. His main worry was the response he would get from other radio personalities [Russ Martin]. He wishes other djs would respect his wife and daughter, just as he's been respectful when they[Russ Martin] were going through personal difficulties.

Kraddick shoved his marriage down our throats for years and how superior it was to everyone else. He deserves all the heckeling he can get.

Don't know Kraddick personally but no personality deserves "heckeling" about an issue as personal and deep as a divorce. Yes, as personalities, we put our lives out there for all to see and disect but to go out of ones way to persecute another is really in poor taste. I'm sure there will be those that argue.

There's a difference between one who leads a relatively quiet family life, and one who builds a shrine around it, only to have the shrine crumble.
Anyone who touts one's self only to fail, leads that one's self to the ridicule of those who had to sit through the touting.

Personalities do put there lives on the radio, and yes Kraddick has devoted his whole show to how much of a family man he was. Nonetheless, kraddick said, they can attack him, but not his family, they didn't sign up for this. Kellie brought up that in the past some Dj in town had asked his listeners to go interrupt Kidds daughters school performances. They had to hire security to protect this poor kid. Seriously, why would anyone torment the competitors family?

Agreed. Personalititties put thier personal lives out there. But where do you draw the line? I made it seem as if I LIVED at a Rockstar's house and it cost me a job. Does anyone remember "Bath Time With Caroline?" Creepy if ya ask me. Does anyone know how old his daughter is these days??

Why? A little thing called RATINGS! People will tune in to hear that soap opera/reality stuff.

Heres my take: I dont have one, suprising isnt it. When it comes to a personal issue, like divorce, it can be pretty rough. If I was in David "Kidd" Craddicks shoes right now, id make sure that this came first and take care of this issue quietly, while asking my other fellow broadcasters to be respectful. Knowing our luck, RMS will try something...

The old saying 'you reap what you sow' is still in effect as far as I can see. If Kraddick didn't want his family subject to the whims of other personalities and listeners then perhaps he shouldn't have mentioned them so candidly on the air. There is a point at which you must separate work and home life and perhaps Kraddick crossed that line to his own detriment. Not saying the other things that have happened to him and his family are right...

I wonder how much John Edwards and Kraddick have in common? From what I have heard, some things are very similar.
