May I suggest you go to

www.city-data.com

and post your request over there as well. This is a site about cities, to dicuss them and it is like an online forum. For instance people talk about cities they are moving to and how to make their city better

If you go to the Cincinnati section and post your request, you will get some feedback which may be helpful to you.

I am in the right section...Classic TV. Retro TV Network is a Classic TV network...and I am petioning to get in on here.

And the people who read these postings who are inclined to sign...are more than welcome to join the effort!

Thanks

Hi All,

I seemed to have died off at 21.

Anyone who sees this is welcome to sign.

www.signalforsale.com

I applaud you for your effort but as has been stated before on line petitions do not work.  One reason and the main one is there is no way to verify the signatures.  At least with a printed petition you can tell who signed it.  Also computer programs can be set up to generate on line petitions and signatures.  The people in power know this and do not give petitions of any kind much thought but they really don't take on line petitions seriously.  Retro TV will only be added if the station thinks they can make money by airing it. the webpage www.snopes.com the urban legends webpage has a great article on why on line petitions don't work.  Go to the inboxer rebelion section and look for the section marked petitions.

I'd suggest calling or writing  your local TV station and asking them if they would consider carrying Retro TV on on one of their sub channels.  You're more likely to get a response by getting people to put pen to paper and actually write letters or make phone calls to let them know you're interested.  As nice as email is I'd still recommend the old fashioned pen and paper in this case.  It's harder to ignore a letter than it is to ignore an email.

Hey There,

Thanks for the reply...

I think I will stay on this as I am getting some traction...got the local paper working on an article on the effort.

Should be exciting!!

Thanks
