Unbelievable!
People in London England are dialing 999 (their 911) because a car drove by and splashed them? Gawd!

And how about this!...

"It doesn't sound like a case for Sherlock Holmes but one woman decided it was worth calling the 999 emergency number when her new bunny did not match its newspaper advert description..."

One thing I'll say about the UK's 999 emergency system - it is FAST! One night while visiting a friend in Leeds, we heard some idiot beating up his wife/girlfriend right in the apartment above his and my friend dialed 999. The cops and aid came and were upstairs in LESS than 1 minute flat! Maybe someone else called before us, even though the fight had been going on less than a minute before we called, but I was certainly impressed.....
