Innovative! Ground-breaking! Super slogans like these truly enhance the listener experience.

But doesn't federal law require them to say something like "from the 80s, 90s, and today?"

It's also most impressive how these unique slogans clearly define the differences between the four stations! If I want to hear a vintage R&B song, I know to go straight to W......er......one of 4 stations in town with a "W" in their call letters! Radio station marketing just keeps getting better and better!

In  your listings of the stations, I believe the former in each group means ther's more of that type of music. For (Hot 97) WQHT there's a slight more tilt towards Hip Hop.

SLIGHT? Tilt to Hip Hop on Hot 97?

They run about 80% hip hop 20% R&B

But I think that's what the slogans mean

Power to me is Heavy R&B Since the announcemet that they wont play certain types of degradeing music.

htowler,

OK, so the balance of Rap & R&B on (Hot 97) WQHT is 80/20. I don't listen to the station on a continuous bases.

So what is the breakdown of R&B and Hip-Hop on (Power 1051) WWPR-FM?

Thanks,

About 60% R&B to 40% Hip Hop

Power has the Power after  hours Show that is several hours of ALL R&B  from 10pm to 2am  the rest of the dayparts are about 50-50 split.
