There was never speculation she was fired. It's been repeated on air and several times in this thread that it was a long decision that involved her voluntary departure.

I just checked the internet and found out from a link at the trentonian newspaper that Judi left to take care of her son with special needs.  She was not fired.  I hope this answers the dilemma.

Attaching a link would've been nice... Roll Eyes   BTW, check out some of the comments that people put at the end of the article.  There is a certain level of negativity on this board but NOTHING compared to some of the remarks left under this news story.

Why would she tell this to the Trentonian but not mention it on the air to people who may have been listening to her for a decade and instead just disappear without a trace?

That doesn't make sense.

It's also very strange that her last show would be the MONDAY before Thanksgiving.  Sounds awfully like an abrupt ending to me....

Hurry listen now !

Dennis is out and Michele is shining ! The show sounds so much more alive without Dennis.

Mid days with Michele is great and hopefully Michele will stay solo mid days on NJ 101.5.

Today proves Dennis is adding nothing but holding Michele and the show back. Let Michele do her thing and watch the big profits roll in as long as Dennis stays home. Listen to all the people telling Michele they love the show. Of course they love the show Dennis isn't there.

Mid days with Michele on NJ101.5. !

The reason I believe Michelle Palenza sounds so good today without Dennis is because her and Dennis really didn't sound good together the last few weeks, just no chemistry and it sounded forced. I'm enjoying the show today but Michelle just needs to keep radio cancer Tyronne Johnson and others out of the studio and the show should roll along sounding very good today. Sorry to say this but after listening the last few weeks Dennis really does need Judi but Michelle does sound very good and much happier alone today without Dennis.

Michelle sounds like a teenager. How much can you listen to this air head. I can't listen anymore it is too much father and daughter. Neither has anything in common. Look forward to seeing what the ratings look like.

It’s too bad..i just discovered the show about 8 months ago and quickly fell in love with it.  Dennis and Judi were a terrific pairing – so funny together and perfectly in synch.  I’ve been listening regularly to the new show – trying to give it a chance - but I don’t think I can do it any longer.  I think to replace Judi with such an inexperienced host is ridiculous and frankly a little insulting to not only Dennis but to the listening audience.  Dennis needs to be paired with his professional equal.  I’m sure Michelle is a lovely person and 29 is not all that young, but she sounds much younger than her years and brings nothing to the table.  Her lack of experience is painfully obvious in her inability to complete sentences or thoughts. And while I like that she doesn’t always agree with Dennis, she is not articulate enough to defend her point of view. And the sexy bantering that Dennis had with Judi sounds rather gross and inappropriate with the adolescent-sounding Michelle.
I’m curious to see if this new team will be successful.

NJ is a blue state. We're liberal, Democrats, and voted in Obama. I always wondered why Dennis and Judi would get on the air and rant like a couple of backwoods rednecks and pretend the entire state felt the same. I mean -- do what you want on the air, but don't call it NEW JERSEY's radio station.

Judi seemed to feel that women belonged in the  kitchen, serving their family first, and yet hypocritically, it was ok for HER to have a job. So maybe she just decided to stay home. On the other hand, don't be surprised if she turns up solo in another market.

I'd welcome the station giving a more accurate representation of ALL of NJ.
