Anybody can play the same music your station plays. Local content, from your station, is the only thing a station has to offer that's unique. If you're not involved in your community, you are NOTHING. Know who taught me that? Dave Lingafelt, when I worked for him from 1980-1984 at WNNC. "Local, Local, Local...that's what it's about. That's ALL it's about!" I wish my friend Dave from then would meet up with Dave from today, and give him a good talking to!

If you read this Dave, I love you, man! I still believe in the dream...as YOU taught it to me!

No need for those pesky carbon units where there are computers that work 24/7 and never complain.  Besides ask people outside of the biz what they don't like about music stations and most say there is too much talk.  Now they might mean the commercials, but you know they'll never get rid of or limit the commercials!

The guy that says "The riiiiiiide" is starting to get on my nerves.  Time for a new approach.

Amen to that, and I only hear the station four times out of the year for week at a time...
