I understand that Salem Communications raised $1 million dollars through their "Feed The Children" program. The funds went directly to disaster relief for Louisiana. KKHT and KNTH raised around $100,000. I listened to KTEK to see if they were doing any promoting on 1110AM. They weren't. I was driving northwest to Bryan and College Station. KTEK's coverage is pretty good. It's a shame Salem doesn't do more with it. They must be making good money off of their foreign laguage broadcasts.
