WCVB, come on!

I was just playing my Madden 2005 on Playstation 2, and I was checking WCVB to make sure the Jerry Lewis telethon was on, but no, WCVB is showing an ABC news special on Supreme Court Judge William Rehnquist's death at age 80. WCVB, come on!, you are supposed to be helping out MDA along with Jerry Lewis, not put in a stupid news segment on Judge Rehnquist's Death!

If you are so all-fired concerned with the health and welfare of the JL Telethon
why are you playing Madden 2005 at all?  

Hmm...?!

Also, just maybe WCVB thought they should do some news about the Chief Justice hoping that viewers would stay with them and not tune to an all-news channel.

Seriously.  If they hadn't broken in at all, someone would be on the board raising holy hell that WCVB was asleep at the wheel.  There is no question this was the right decision given the importance of the story.
