As an aside, has anyone been able to receive WFLF along the northern Gulf Coast since they moved to the new site?

At the old site, I was able to hear them during the daytime from Ocean Springs, MS.  Signal was weak but fully intelligible on both my GM Delco car radio and my CC Radio.

There's no question that WDBO has a superior signal over most AM stations in Central Florida...

You are judging that Clear Channel engineering has the new array built, they do not.  According to the FCC database, CC just renewed their STA last month where WFLF can run 12.5 kW non-directional while they proof their new day and night patterns as well as re-proofing the day/night patterns of co-located 740 WYGM.

WDBO does have a VERY STRONG signal.  I was watching the new "Star Trek" film the other night, and there is a scene where Kirk & Spock are listening to Officer Jim Turner on the Enterprise.......

I was at Pensacola Beach Thursday around 3pm and received WFLF with a decent signal. As sonn as you go inland it disappears. WWL comes in like a local.

I have heard their old transmitter sight has already been disassembled.
