They have filed for another extension to stay silent. The app was accepted for filing and will likely be approved for another 6 months.

Any idea what their plans are? Are they still looking for a facility for the station? Any format idea?

I hear that Toledo Radio, Inc doesn't have the $$$ to run WPFX and are looking to sell. Anyone hear the same, or contrary?

I'm on the outside looking in but if they cant get there act together already it would make sense to sell, I wonder if they would try to move it closer to Toledo?

Has anyone noticed the WLFC Findlay application to move the station to North Baltimore? Hmmmmm.....the tower site is the same as WPFX.

Hmmm, that could be used for 107.7 to claim that WLFC will continue to provide North Baltimore with "local service" if they are moved away.

Smart move, substantial increase in coverage for WLFC as well. However, the newly proposed FCC rules regarding move-ins to urbanized areas may trip WPFX up. Under present rules, all that is required is a "Tuck" showing that the community is sufficiently separate from the main city in an urbanized area (has a post office, business district, schools, etc.). Now a move-in to an urbanized area (e.g.: Arbitron rated county)is considered to be a proposal to add the channel to the urbanized area as a whole. Thrust of the rules is to discourage such proposals.
