This is what I don't get. I don't get why people even post on discussion boards anymore. All they are are boards filled with nasty posters.

Are you kidding, you lied, you got busted and now you are whining some more?

I offer you shirts you balk. So sad.

No one is allowed to post any personal information like that on a public board. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do that in fact, that's just common sense.

Think what you want. The station is only ruining their own reputation.

you know - it takes MAYBE 20 minutes to setup a private stream.  all you have to have is a walkman thing with a headphone jack and a soundcard with a mike jack.  which pretty much everyone has.  i was streaming the zew about 5 years before they did it themselves ... yes, when i graduated from college down there i missed it that much.

not saying anyone did...just pointing out "the station" has no control over who streams them.

unless you want to turn off your transmitter? bwhahahaha...

so, what's the number to listen to WABB on the phone?  Oh, that right!  YOU DON'T KNOW IT!!

Cry, whine, moan. Play an innocent vitcim.  You came on here trying to trash a station, and you got called out!  If you're going to try and light a fire, you better be able to stand the heat.

There is no pitty for you.  Sorry.

The number is the request line. DJs put me on hold to listen seriously.
This is the lamest thing I have ever heard.

I won a tee shirt once.  Worked my arse off to win it too, and then it only lasted ten years.  Who should I call about this?   Grin

Ok I'll name the stations that have done this:

1.) KZZO 100.5 The Zone

2.) KYKY Y-98

3.) Former 104.1 The Point in Tucson, AZ

4.) Former KMCQ Q104.5

5.) WIXX 101

6.) WZZL 106.7

7.) Former Star 99.5 in Gainesville, FL

8.) WEAT Sunny 104.3

I can go on and on.

You spend a great deal of time looking for prizes on the radio, huh?

No offense, but there isn't one station in America that really cares what a radio garb fanatic thinks of them from 1000 miles away. It won't change their ratings or LOCAL perception.  Which is what only matters, anyway.

Epic....
Thread...
Is....
This....

Or at least has the potential.....

(The following below may be construed as a threadjack)

Seriously......None of the stations I have worked for do not (and if so, rarely) mail stuff out......It annoys me when people who win contests, and then tell you they are from halfway accross the state.  How are you going to pick up your prize, and are you really going to drive all that way to get a free lunch from the resturant...... o_O
And no, we will not mail it to you.......GAAAHHHHH!

As to the original posting, I sometimes have taken it upon myself to mail stuff to a listener.....Yeah it comes out of my wallet, but you get all sorts of warm feelings, like when you pee your pants......

...........OH LOOK!!! A PUPPY!!!!!!!!
