I realized that this post I made elsewhere would probably be better posted here in the Classic Radio group:

For you fans of classic CKLW from the 70's I thought I would mention today is Jo-Jo's birthday.

For those who may not know know, Jo-Jo Shutty was the airborne traffic reporter for CKLW who was married CKLW news director Byron MacGregor for more than twenty years.

CKLW was one of my favorite stations and on the rare occasions I was able to pick up a hint of it was a great listen. Thank goodness for airchecks!
